a place to belong

Thank you for visiting First Ozark United Methodist Church! Our mission is to be an obedient community of faith--believing, praising, and loving God as revealed in Jesus Christ--as we respect, encourage, and serve our neighbors.

Founded in 1852, First Ozark continues to work toward celebrating all people in our society and committing ourselves to the rights of men, women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. We invite you to explore what we have to offer, and we hope you visit us soon!

Audio Volunteers for Sunday Services

We are in need a volunteer (or volunteers) who would be willing to operate our sound board for the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. traditional services.  If you would like to learn more about sound board operation or if you would like to volunteer to run the board, please contact Nash in the office, or Jim Boynton via phone at 334-477-3035 or via email, cementjungle@yahoo.com

   Souper Day

We encourage you to bring soups, meats, casseroles, side dishes, and vegetables and place them in the freezer. You may also bring fresh fruit and individually wrapped snacks. Deliverers are needed as well! There is also a need to replenish the freezer and pantry. We will resume our usual first and third Tuesday packing and delivery schedule beginning in February. Thank you!

Almost everyone drinks and/or appreciates great coffee and tea - every day! This is an easy way for us to raise funds for Top Floor Youth now! Giving Bean is a specialty coffee roaster and tea blender shipping directly to homes everywhere. We will receive 25% on most items and there are subscription options that raise funds through repeat orders automatically. It's all a simple and delicious way for people to help support us....BUT we need your help to spread the word!

If you love to start the day with a cup of great coffee or artisan tea, life just got better. Giving Bean Coffee and Tea purchases now support Top Floor Youth ...with every sip! We've partnered with Giving Bean to help raise funds in this cool new way, and we're reaching out to our coffee and tea drinking friends to ask them to steer their next coffee and tea purchases over this way to help us out. Just order from the web site and treat yourself to artfully crafted coffee and tea shipped right to your home or office.

Building Generations of Faith

Thank you to everyone for your interest and for being a part of our Building Generations of Faith campaign! Psalm 145:4 has been selected as our campaign scripture verse. Our church has and will hold true to this verse throughout our campaign. Psalm 145:4 states, “One generation commends your words to another; they tell of your mighty acts.”
